We’re rising – and I want you with me

Something surprising happened this week. Trauma Matrix was listed at #77 in Education on Substack – with only 61 subscribers.

That might sound like a strange statistic, but to me it’s proof of something important: this work has power. Even in a crowded internet, messages about dismantling shame and reclaiming power from narcissistic systems are cutting through. People are hungry for truth that doesn’t bypass and doesn’t pretend.

And as far as I can see, I’m the only one out here sharing this message, and this system which is a pathway to breaking out of trauma and the shame matrix.

Shame isn’t just an emotion. It’s a construct of hierarchy, a psychological mechanism that keeps people small, obedient, and disconnected from their true power. Once you start to see it, the whole game changes.

That’s what The Trauma Matrix is about: breaking up with the inner narcissist and the inherited shame that’s been running the show. It’s what allowed me to finally step out of survival mode and into real, embodied freedom, and I’ve seen the same happen for others following this work.

Here’s what one podcaster wrote after our recent conversation:

“This conversation changed my entire way of thinking about shame.
Emma is deeply knowledgeable and speaks about how insidious shame is, and what we can actually do to stop shaming ourselves.
If you’ve heard people talk about ‘reclaiming their power’ but they didn’t mention shame, they missed the point.
Absolutely loved the conversation and can’t wait for our next deep dive.”

I’ve kept everything here free because I believe this information belongs in the public space. The world doesn’t need another gate around healing.

But writing and sharing at this depth takes time, energy, and nervous-system capacity. To keep it sustainable, and to keep it free for everyone who needs it — I’m opening paid subscriptions.

I’m also actively seeking funding for a book that’s been forming inside me — a deeper exploration of this system and how shame, empire, and narcissistic power structures weave through our culture and our psyches. Paid subscriptions help me carve out the space and stability to bring that book into being.

Becoming a paid subscriber isn’t about buying extra content. It’s about supporting the continuation of this work so it can stay open, alive, and evolving.

If these essays have helped you see yourself more clearly, release inherited shame, or understand the fractal patterns of power that shape our lives, please consider becoming a paid subscriber.

It’s $8 a month, about the price of a coffee, and it makes a real difference. You’ll also receive occasional behind-the-scenes reflections and early access to new pieces, but the main reward is knowing you’re helping keep this space thriving.

We’re rising.
And your support is what makes it possible to keep going, to keep unraveling the inner empire and remembering what true power feels like.

Thank you for being here.
